We package our "off bike" support services as Transportation and Camping Support and Transportation and Lodging Support and you choose one or the other.  This section details the camping option.

We provide camping support for one simple reason – when touring in Oregon, if you are not prepared to camp out you eliminate many of the possible tour routes that are available to you. The number of routes where motels are consistantly available every 50 to 100 miles is quite limited. In addition, camping provides for a very social experience as the group spends more time together than they would if they stayed in motels.

Most of our groups actually combine camping with a couple of motel or B&B stays. Mixing it up is nice and sometimes it is simply more convenient to stay in a motel or B&B while in town.

While it is true that our groups camp out most nights, we don’t think that they should have to “rough it”. We like to think that we provide the facilities such that our guests enjoy “comfort camping”. Our camp sites include tables and chairs for everyone, hot and cold running water for our camp kitchen and showers, portable shelters for sun and rain protection, and even clothes drying racks to hang up your riding clothes after you wash them out after your ride.

For those who really want to be catered to while in camp we offer our Full Comfort Camping option.  You will arrive in camp to find your bags waiting for you in a large tent for with a comfortable air bed made up with conventional bedding.   See the Camp Gear page for more details.

This package includes transporting you, your bike, and your gear to the ride starting point and back home afterwards.  While you ride we transport your gear to the next camp site so that you carry only minimal gear on our bike.

Our vehicles are available to transport the group at anytime during the tour too.  If you have the misfortune to run into inclement weather or forest fires (it has happened) we can transport the group at anytime as needed.  We can also transport the group to partake in local events and activities.
